Do I need to register a drone with CAAT and NBTC in Thailand?

Yes. Under Thai law any drone with a camera must be registered with both the NBTC and CAAT. Check the registration status of the drone you rent, and follow the flight rules: no higher than 90 metres, not near airports, and not over restricted areas. Tourists should allow time for this before flying.

Which drone is best for a beginner?

Can I rent a drone as a tourist visiting Thailand?
